I am pleased to announce I have teamed up with photographer Mike Andrick. He will be assisting me as my second shooter during weddings. I can’t express how excited I am to be showcasing Mike’s work beside mine. Having Mike join me as a second shooter basically means we will have more coverage of getting-ready shots before the ceremony, more photographs of beautiful, subtle moments while I’m focusing on the couple, and without trying to sound too proud of our work, creating a documentary photography tour de force. Mike joined me for the first time this past weekend out near Fredericksburg at a small winery called Woodrose.  These photographs are coming soon, so stayed tuned.
I was introduced to Mike’s work months ago. These particular photographs focused on the social and economic conditions of Appalachia. Needless to say I was impressed and intrigued by the sensitivity he displayed with his camera. When we initially met and discussed the subjects of photography, cycling, and working together, I think we both knew we’d end up being good pals. After many nights of hanging out at Dolce Vita and a few long bike rides together, we were ready to finally shoot a wedding. Well, with one wedding down, I can safely say I can hardly wait for our Spring weddings together. Get ready, Austin brides!

What a rakishly handsome duo!
Thanks, Audrey!
