Last year I took a leap and started my own wedding photography studio. No longer was I another photographer’s second shooter; I was the lead shooter making all the decisions. I learned how to run a small business. It was a wonderful year with so much growth, and also some challenges.

Despite those challenges, what resonated with me the most was witnessing so many happy couples on their wedding day. I consider myself fortunate to work with unique people who trusted me to be their photographer. They really make all the hard work worth it. This post is an homage to them and the many special moments captured on their wedding days.
